The Floor.

What we built, and why

A training floor in Vaughan built by athletes who got tired of training in places built for lockers and smoothie sales.

LFG Vaughan is an athletic performance facility on Lotherton Pathway, just north of the 401. We have one floor, four programs, and one standard: whatever we coach, we coach at the level that actually changes outcomes — not the level that fits comfortably in a group class.

The floor is 12,000 square feet of turf, platforms, racks, sleds, and enough open space to sprint indoors without hitting a wall. It is not a boutique. It is not a crossfit box. It is a training floor — built for work, not for the aesthetic of work.

We work with youth athletes from 10 to 18, adults from 18 to 70, team programs for competitive youth clubs, and seasonal camps during school breaks. Every program is coached by staff who have competed, and none of it runs on autopilot.

The Programs.

Four tracks, one standard
Program · 01 Youth

Youth Development

Long-term athletic development for ages 10–18. Strength, speed, mobility, and coordination built progressively across the year — no early specialization, no max-lift testing, no shortcuts. Parents get a written report every quarter.

Ages 10–18 ~ 12-week blocks
Program · 02 Adult

Adult Strength

Strength and conditioning for adults at every level of experience. Small-group coaching with real progressions — squat, hinge, press, pull, loaded carry — plus conditioning that does not wreck your Monday. Capped at eight athletes per coach.

Ages 18+ Monthly membership
Program · 03 Team

Team Training

Off-season and in-season strength and conditioning for competitive youth teams across the GTA — hockey, soccer, basketball, rugby. Coached alongside the team's own staff, with test protocols aligned to their season calendar.

Teams · U12 → U18 Seasonal contracts
Program · 04 Camp

Seasonal Camps

Week-long training camps during school breaks — March, July, August, and the winter holidays. Half-day and full-day options. Multi-sport general athleticism for younger campers; position-specific speed and power work for older athletes.

Ages 10–17 Week-long

The Method.

How we coach
01

Form before load

Every athlete starts with movement quality, not weight on the bar. A young athlete who can squat properly at bodyweight will out-train one who maxes out with bad mechanics, and stay injury-free doing it. We have never rushed this, and we never will.

02

Coaches on the floor

Every session has a coach on the floor, not behind a desk. Ratios are capped so that a coach can actually see every athlete every rep. If we cannot staff a session properly, we do not run it.

03

Progress you can see

Test, train, retest. Athletes are measured at the start of every block and again at the end — strength, speed, and where relevant, sport-specific metrics. No vague "you're getting stronger." Numbers on paper.

04

Long-term over seasonal

We are not here to peak an athlete at fourteen. Our programming looks two and three years ahead, with a bias toward durability, joint health, and staying in sport. The best athletes we work with are still training, five years later.
